Minor historical elected since 1948


Based on the results of the elections of Tuesday, NBC News finds that 22% or more of the next Congress will be composed new members--most since 1992.

"There are still nine races home misplaced, all involving democratic incumbents.The results of these races might change slightly. numbers lead Republicans in five of those and if they win, the incumbent reelection rate seems still high 85%, but it would be the lowest in the House since 1948.
